Food Safety Certifications, LLC offers many choices to assist you in meeting the requirements of your state and local regulations to train all of your staff in Food Safety.

Do-It-Yourself Program

This program is FLORIDA APPROVED (DBPR, Div. of Hotels & Restaurants). In addition, it complys with many OTHER STATE and LOCAL Regulations in training your staff in Food Safety. Regardless of regulation, training your staff in Food Safety will show due diligence on your part in doing everything you can to provide safe food to your customers.

For the Do-It-Yourself Program, you will need to purchase a minimum of ONE Training Manual per facility. You will then purchase one Training Certificate Record per employee you are training. You will conduct your training, complete the certificate/wallet card, give the employee the wallet card and keep the training certificate record on file for your inspector.  (In Florida, and many other areas, the Food Manager is authorized to conduct this training.) That is all there is to it! You do NOT have to fill out any scanner sheets or mail this to Tallahassee or any other main office.

Food Employee Training Manual - $20 (English or Spanish)
Please note - one manual per establishment, NOT one per person

Food Employee Training Certificate Record (includes Wall Certificate, Training Record AND Wallet Card)- $6
Please note - one certificate per employee.

Please note, the Training Manual is valid ONLY with the corresponding Training Certificate Records. The Training Certificate Records are ONLY valid with the corresponding Training Manual. You will need BOTH to be in compliance. You may NOT mix and match different manuals and certificates. Certificates may NOT be copied. This is a direct violation. There is a minimum order of 5 certificates required.

Open Classes

Food Employees can join FSC at our Open Classes throughout Florida and listen to the training portion of the Food Manager class. The student will then be a Certified Food Employee in Florida. The instructor will give the employee the Florida Approved Training Certificate Record and Wallet Card. The Training Certificate Record should be kept by the employer as proof of certification.

Food Employee Open Class cost is $25 /student.

These classes are held throughout the state at predetermined times and locations. Please visit the Locations Page for details on dates and locations throughout Florida.

Private On-Site Classes

Food Safety Certifications, LLC will come to you, based on your schedule to train and certify your staff. This option is available in most areas of Florida.

There is a lot of flexibility with these classes.  You MUST contact FSC directly to schedule a Private On-Site Class due to schedule limitations.  You may contact us at 1-800-874-1009.  You may not purchase the Private Class option online.

Private On-Site Cost:

  • $28/student for 8 - 14 students
  • $25/student for 15 - 24 students
  • $20/student for 25 + students

The students will then be Certified Food Employees in Florida. The instructor will give the employer the Florida Approved Training Certificate Record as proof of certification and the students will receive the Wallet Cards.

Private On-Site Food Employee classes are often combined with Private On-Site Food Manager classes.
