How do I pass the exam and save?


  • Read the following terms and conditions.

FSC Account Terms and Conditions

1] ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO REFUNDS.
2] Items purchased over the phone
are more expensive than placing your own order here at FSC's website. Additionally, special offers, discounts and coupons are not valid for phone orders.
3] Items purchased at class are more expensive than items purchased over the phone. Additionally, special offers, discounts and coupons are not valid for at class purchases.
4] Most clients never need to reference their account after placing their order. If you should need to reference your account after purchase, FOR ANY REASON, you MUST use a ServeSupport© Client Care Form . Instructions to return the form are on the form. It is the absolute fastest and only method to work with your account after your order has been placed! Using this form is the primary reason we are able to offer you prices drastically lower than any of our competitors.
5] Client Care Forms are confirmed via email within 48 hours of receipt. Please do not submit a duplicate Client Care Form until 48 hours have passed from your first electronic submittal or 7 business days have passed from your post marked U.S. mail submittal. Do not use an email account that uses a "gate keeper." FSC and NFM do not manually join or ask permission to join email "safe lists."
6] Web orders only: You will be able to view all charges before being asked for credit card payment at website. You will also be able to print a receipt as soon as your payment is accepted by the website. Additionally, the website will automatically email your confirmation letter and receipt. Please do not use an email account that uses a "gate keeper." FSC and NFM do not manually join or ask permission to join email "safe lists." Contact by any method just to confirm that your WEB order was received may be considered an account violation.
7] Account terms and product conditions: Term 60 or 90 days from date of purchase as posted below.
• Florida - ALL INCLUSIVE Special = 90 days. The 2nd & 3rd EXAM FREE GUARANTEE included free in this special is only offered to students that purchase at least 7 days prior to their original exam date.
• Florida - Food Manager Exam administered at an FSC Open Class = 90 days.
• Florida - Food Manager Training at an FSC Open Class = 90 days.
• USA & Florida - Food Manager Training Online = 60 days.
• USA & Florida - The 2nd Exam FREE Guarantee (if needed): with Open Class = 90 days. with Online Class = 60 days.
This guarantee product is available for purchase ONLY to students who are also making a MINIMUM purchase of Training (Open Class or Online) AND Study Guide on the same order. The order must be placed a MINIMUM of 7 days prior to the certification exam or the guarantee will not be honored and/or refunded. Once the GUARANTEE has been purchased, there is no additional fee to retake the exam one time (if needed) at any FSC Open Class prior to the account term expiration. For students that did not take their first exam at an FSC Open Class: to claim a refund ($45-$60 based on receipt) for an exam failure the following criteria must be met; Online Training must not have more than 30 minutes unused, your knowledge reviews and online prep final exam must be completed, and you must provide FSC with a copy of your paid exam receipt and failure notice from Prometric, ServeSafe or NRFSP within 60 days of purchase. You must use a ServeSupport© Client Care Form to schedule your exam retake or claim a refund. You may not reschedule an exam retake. There are no refunds or credits for unused or unattended exam retakes. After the account term expires, the account becomes closed without credits or refunds and requests to reference the account may incur research and labor fees. The only exception would be for students who purchase an FSC Open Class and/or exam (to be administered at an FSC Open Class) more than 90 days from date of purchase. These students may attend the original class and/or exam. The account term will expire the day of the class/exam.
8] All Online Training Portals, within all packages, may be closed 60 days from date of purchase. All other applicable terms remain in effect until the account term expires.
9] Unlimited training until you pass is included FREE with all guaranteed 2nd and 2nd & 3rd Exam FREE students until the account term expires. (Use a ServeSupport© Client Care Form.)
10] Account Changes: class date change, name change, exam language change, etc.: Account Changes may be made for a $25 fee until the account term expires. Please note: Name changes may not be made after a client has sat for the first exam and/or attended the class. (Use a ServeSupport© Client Care Form.)
11] Food Handler classes and supplies are valid in FL, CA, and many other states. Where valid, they remain valid for three years from date of certification. Once an order has been placed for the Food Handler class or supplies, the sale is final and no changes may be made.
12] Types of ID required for exam:
Each candidate MUST have and be able to show the exam administrator valid government-issued photo identification for themselves. The exam may NOT be taken without one of the following acceptable official photo identifications:
• Valid state driver’s license (from any state)
• Current passport (from any country)
• Current military identification
• Valid state identification with photo (from any state)
• Valid Immigration and Naturalization Service Employment Authorization Document or Alien Registration Card
13] Violating FSC Account Terms and Conditions including but not limited to failure to use a Client Care Form to contact FSC after you have made a purchase and/or referencing your order by any method to learn information contained in the account terms and conditions or included in the web links in the account terms and conditions, may result in an immediate account termination WITHOUT refund or credit. The only valid exception would be for students who call FSC on extension 116 (800-874-1009 x116) for their Food Manager Exam Results after taking an open class exam within the previous 29 days. If exam results have not been received within 30 days of the exam date, the student MUST complete a Food Manager Certificate Reprint Request.

Exam Results:
When do I receive my Exam Results?
Typically in just a few business days from exam day.

25] After you take your exam, you may phone FSC's Exam Results Line and LEAVE A MESSAGE as directed. Once FSC receives the exam results, we will then email your results to you in advance of mailing the results to you. Leave a message one time only. The Exam Results Line is 1-800-874-1009 EXTENSION 116.
26] You should receive your results in the mail to the address you listed on your answer sheet within 14 BUSINESS days from the exam. If you do not have them at 14 BUSINESS days, please call the Exam Results Line to request an email copy to check the address you listed on your answer sheet. The Exam Results Line is 1-800-874-1009 EXTENSION 116.
27] If you have not received your results at 30 days of your exam date, you MUST complete a Food Manager Certificate Reprint Request and return it to FSC. Do NOT include payment information. There is NO CHARGE for a reprint request for a card not received within the first 59 days from your exam date. ANY REQUEST FOR A REPRINT AFTER 59 DAYS FROM EXAM DATE WILL INCUR A $36 CHARGE FOR RESEARCH, REPRINT AND RESHIPPING.
